Street Outreach Chicago R.V.P.S. Victim Services KCC Academy
KCC Academy’s R.V.P.S. The team delivers daily street outreach in Chicago’s Chatham community and surrounding South Side neighborhoods. We do not wait for violence to come to us, we go to it, interrupt it, and stand with the people who are most affected by it.
What Is R.V.P.S.? Street Outreach & Victim Services
R.V.P.S. stands for Street Outreach and Victim Services. It is KCC Academy’s frontline street outreach Chicago program placing trained community workers directly inside the neighborhoods most impacted by gun violence to de-escalate tension, mediate conflicts, and connect residents to the support they need before and after violence occurs.
Daily Street Outreach in Chicago's Chatham Community
Our street outreach Chicago team works every single day in the Chatham community. Seven days a week, our outreach workers are on the ground building relationships, identifying tension, and intervening before situations turn deadly.

Â
This is not a part-time effort. Street outreach in Chicago requires full-time presence, full-time trust, and full-time commitment. That is exactly what the R.V.P.S. team brings to Chatham every single day.

Effective street outreach in Chicago is built on one thing: trust. Our outreach workers are credible messengers. They come from the same streets, the same communities, and the same life experiences as the people they serve. That authenticity is what makes R.V.P.S. effective where others have failed.

Violence does not stop at the end of a shift. That is why our street outreach Chicago team does not either. R.V.P.S. is in the community every day, not just when the cameras are on.
